William "Wayne" Smith

William Wayne Smith, 69 of Clearville, PA; passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2025.  He was born on November 12, 1956 in Baltimore, MD; a son of the late William Leon and Mable (Boone) Smith.

On November 1, 1996, he married Angela Smith.  She passed away on December 2, 2025 along with him.

He is survived by his only daughter Jessica Beegle married to Christopher; four grandchildren Cameron, Isaiah, Adriana and Parker; siblings Larry Smith married to Irene, Sabillasville, MD; Roger Smith married to Patty; Joanne Mercer and Brenda Brown married to Donald all of Graceham, MD; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Patsy Morgan, brother-in-law Glenn Mercer, a niece Tammy Wine and his precious dog Lucy Lou.

Wayne worked for over thirty years at Baltimore Brick Company and later working at Carrol County Road, J&R Transport and most recently he was a livestock hauler for Beegle’s Livestock.

He loved caring for his cows and being outdoors and when he was younger he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the Eastern Shore crabbing.  Wayne cherished his grandchildren.

Burial will be held privately.
