William T. Hostetler, 83, of Breezewood, PA; passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at home with his family by his side. He was born on November 28, 1941 in Somerset, PA; a son of the late Russell and Ruth (Stutchel) Hostetler. On June 15, 1961 in Winchester, VA; he married Wonda M. (Weimer) Hostetler.
Along with his wife of sixty-four years, he is survived by three children Wayne Hostetler married to Wanda, Brenda Hostetler and Mark Hostetler married to Tina; eight grandchildren Janelle (Richard) Fitz, Daniel (Alison) Hostetler, Curtis (Sara) Hostetler, Emily (Ryan) Dixon, Bethany (Brian) Hann, Alysha (Brenden) Over, Marya Hostetler and Aaryn Hostetler; twelve great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Goldie Hostetler and Helen “Lois” Dewitt and four brothers: Arden, Russell Jr., Robert and Jerry Hostetler.
Bill worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company for 43 years as a mechanic. He loved working on any equipment and hunting with his boys in his younger years.
He will be sadly missed by the entire family.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at 12 noon in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor John Kisner officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.
