Wanda C. Lehman, 95, of Everett, passed away on February 11, 2025 at Pennknoll Village. She was born on February 23, 1929; a daughter of the late Melvin Sr. and Rebecca (Clark) Clark.
She is survived by son George Lehman of Potomac, MD and granddaughter Misty Dawn Lehman.
Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband George C. Lehman Jr. of 69 years, a daughter Joie Ann and brothers James Clark, John Clark and Melvin Clark Jr.
Wanda was a graduate of Everett High School. Wanda worked for various places including the Bedford Telephone Company, Dr. O’Shurak’s Dentist Office in Bedford, PA and Montgomery Ward catalog store in Everett, PA. Wanda and George moved to Avon Park, FL where they became avid golfers. She was a member of the First Christian Church. They returned to Everett to finish out their retirement together and to spend time with their family.
Wanda had a love for certain foods including Dunkin Donuts Coffee and coconut donuts, the Prime Buffet in Hollidaysburg, Burger King Jr. Whoppers and fries. Wanda would have called going to these places “A Good Day!” She also enjoyed flower gardening and watching tennis. Aunt Tottie, as known by her nieces had them in often for cake, pie and goodies. She always made sure the coffee was perfect! Wanda was an independent person continuing to drive until her recent sickness. Wanda is known by her nieces to be a wonderful, caring, kind, and loving Aunt. She will be missed beyond words.
At the decedents request there will be no visitation.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Union Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests in place of flowers, memorial contributions be made in memory of Wanda to the First Christian Church, 57 Providence Street, Everett, PA 15537.
