Terry B. Wyles, 76, of Alum Bank, PA; went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 15, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1947; a son of the late Blair and Mildred E. (Motto) Wyles. On November 22, 1997, he was united in marriage to Dorothy E. (Cornell) Wyles. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2015.
He is survived by two children Tammy Frazier married to David, Bedford and Nicky Young married to Kevin, Bedford, step children Pam Humphrey, Carol Clark and Dana Morris; grandchildren Heather, Hannah, Blair and Calvin, several step grandchildren; a sister Gail Grubb, a niece Valerie Cessna married to Ben and a nephew Kevin Grubb.
He was preceded in death by brother-in-law Ernest Grubb.
Terry was a member of the First Christian Church, Everett. He was employed for H. Eugene Koontz Trucking and later working for Tri-County Bulk Milk Haulers for many years until his retirement.
His family was a priority, he was so proud of them. Terry had a love for animals, farming and watching rodeos. When he was unable to attend church he followed Pastor David Jeremiah on television.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating.
Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held privately at New Enterprise Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Wyles to the First Christian Church, 57 Providence Street, Everett, PA 15537.
