Tarra Lambert Obituary

Tarra L. Lambert, 48, of Clearville, PA went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2020 after a lengthy battle with her brain disease.
She was born on September 28, 1972 in Bethesda, MD; the daughter of the late David Lambert, Sr., and Georgia Lee (Branch) Vore of Hillview Nursing Home Altoona, PA

She is survived by her fiancé Tod Pittman; siblings: David Lambert, Jr. of Everett, Trisha White of Prince Frederick, MD, Tracey Groff of Hollidaysburg, Tonya Greenawalt wife of Todd, of Everett; nieces and nephews: Danny White, Jr., Laura and Glen Cessna, Nicholas and Macey White, Beverly Novak, Heather Novak, Julie Groff, Joshua Greenawalt and Jacob Greenawalt; brother-in-law Danny White Sr.; stepmother Patty Lambert, aunts and uncles Gale & Jack Burns, Sheri Ann & Earl Voorhees and Kay Thomas.

She was preceded in death by stepfather David Vore, brother Daniel Lambert, and niece Lauren McCarty.

Tarra was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church, and enjoyed listening to the worship music on Sonlife Broadcasting Network.

Tarra was a Graduate of Everett High School Class of 1990.

Tarra was a former employee of REI, and Macy’s Department Store.

Tarra enjoyed being with Tod going to car shows and her favorite place, the beach.  She also enjoyed caring for the animals around home.  Her nieces & nephews were her pride and joy.  Her smile shined through any problem she was having when she saw them.

She faced all her health setbacks with strength & dignity.  We stood by her and helped her along the way.
When she could not walk, we pushed her, when she could not speak, we spoke for her, when she could not hear, we heard for her.

We will miss our daily talks and phone calls with Tarra.  And her saying “I sure would like to see you today.”

One of Tarra’s favorite songs was
“In the Sweet By and By”
There’s a land that is Fairer than day, and by Faith we can See it afar, for the Father waits over the way to prepare us a dwelling place there.  In the Sweet by and by, We shall meet on that Beautiful Shore.

The family would like to thank the staff at Pennknoll Nursing Home and “Tarra’s Girls” who helped care for her the past sixteen months.

A private funeral service will be held in Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Lay speaker Todd Greenawalt officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Everett Cemetery.
