Susanna P. (Foor) Morse

Susanna “Toots” P. Morse, 87 of Everett, PA;  passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025; surrounded by her family.  She was born on May 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Dewey and  Lennie (Bequeath) Foor.   On June 24, 1957; she was united in marriage to Lorrain “Moose” Morse; they were happily married for thirty-three years before his passing on May 19, 1990.

They were blessed with the following children Karen (Michael) Brambley, Breezewood, PA;  Kenneth Morse (Deanna), Everett, PA; Sandra (Kenneth) Anderson, Breezewood, PA;  Lorrie (Randy) Young, Brigham City, Utah; Michael Morse (Joy), Womelsdorf, PA;  son in-law Randy Sponsler, Reinholds, PA.

She is also survived by her sisters, Myrtle “PeeWee” and Nancy, brother Chester “Butch”, sisters- in-law Mary & Betty, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Toots was preceded in death by her daughters Sharon and Debbie Ann, two sisters and six brothers.

She was a loving devoted mom and grandmother to her family. For many years she was a part of the Breezewood Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and was a cook for various restaurants. Her pies won blue ribbons at the Bedford County Fair and she made the best bread and fudge.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Marion Foor officiating.

Burial will be held at Union Memorial Cemetery.
