Steven M. Thoms

Born in Chambersburg, PA in September of 1975.  He is the youngest child of Brian and Jeanne Thoms who moved to Colorado in 2012 where Steve was living.

Steve is survived by his three children:  Matt and Wade Thoms are serving in the US Army, and Tera Thoms.  He is also survived by his parents and brothers:  Dave, Rich, John, and Jeff.

Graduating from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1994, Steve worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Alamosa, CO… several years as a loved school Safety Officer.  Next he drove cross-country semi trucks for C. R. England Trucking, Crete, and a small Michigan based company.  He took photos, posting to FB and calling from his deliveries to nearly all 50 states.  He loved exploring the United States while driving tractor trailers, sometimes bringing along family… always keeping his friends and family curious of his next interesting location until the discovery of his brain tumor in 2020.  

Steve was a loving, caring man of God who enjoyed singing and playing one of his guitars as time allowed.  He enjoyed gardening, flowers, and helping with various tasks.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring of 2025.
