Shirley A. (Perrin) Foor

Shirley A. (Perrin) Foor, 83, of Fairview Street, Everett, PA and most recently of the Victoria House at Spring House Estates, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  She was born on January 12, 1941 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Johnson) Perrin.  On April 23, 1960 in Winchester, VA; she married Richard Murry Foor.  He preceded her in death on February 27, 2023.

She is survived by children Keith R. Foor, Everett, PA; Valerie A. Smith married to Jeffrey, Harrisburg, PA; Vickie S. Foor, Bedford, PA; Kevin E. Foor and significant other Lisa Jay, Osterburg, PA; Kerry L. Foor, Carlisle, PA; grandchildren Kayla, Kyle, Colt, Shelby and Addison; great grandchildren Eli and Evan; and a sister Mary E. Calhoun, Martinsburg.

She was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1958.

Shirley was a member of the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren.  She enjoyed beach trips, going shopping with the ladies, working jigsaw puzzles, and completing word search puzzles.  Shirley enjoyed participating in the various activities at the Victoria House with her favorite being Bingo.

Mrs. Foor worked at the Lions Manufacturing and later at Riverside / Bi-LO in the bakery and also as a cashier.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor David Grimes and Pastor Janet Sell officiating.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.

Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery.
