Shirley L. Beegle

Shirley L. Beegle, 84, of New Enterprise, PA; passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024 at home. She was born on December 02, 1939 in Langdondale, PA; a daughter of the late Harry B. and Bessie (Dodson) Weiser.  On December 21, 1963 in Winchester, VA, she married Roy E. Beegle. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2013.

She is survived by three children Jodie Price, Everett, PA; Jennifer McElheny married to Timothy, Duncansville, PA; and Dana Beegle, New Enterprise, PA; five grandchildren, Allison, Zachary and Nicholas Price, Connor and Kate McElheny; sister Pauline Williams, Everett, PA; and brother Robert Weiser married to Barbara, Gaithersburg, MD.

She was preceded in death by siblings; June, Harry, Jane, Gloria, Samuel, Emma, Faye, Henry, Wiliam, Minnie, Marie, and Rena.

She enjoyed playing cards with friends, baking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4-7 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel at the Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Jay officiating. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Langdondale Cemetery.
