Sheldon W. Cronemiller

Sheldon W. Cronemiller, 85, of Breezewood, PA; passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Conemaugh at Nason Hospital.  He was born in Yellow Creek on January 11, 1939, a son of the late John Wesley and Idela (Mason) Cronemiller.  On December 05, 1977 in North Dakota he married Doris M. (Metzker) Cronemiller. 

Along with his wife, he is survived by eight children, fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Wright.

Sheldon was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School Class of 1957; after graduation he was an apprentice in iron work and continuing to work for Local Union #568 in Maryland.

Sheldon attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Warfordsburg.   He volunteered at In One Accord Ministries Inc. and was a member of Men and Women of Action.  He loved to listen to gospel music and loved his dog “Princess”.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA from 4-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Assembly of God Church in Warfordsburg, 3297 Rice Road, Warfordsburg, PA 17267 with Pastor Delmas Bard officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Diehl’s Crossroads Cemetery.
