Shawna D. Hess

Shawna D. Hess, 42, of Saxton, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Donahoe Manor.  She was born May 27, 1978 in Huntingdon, PA, a daughter of Vicki A. (McQuait) Wallace married to Buck Isett and Donald L. Russell married to Judy Lynn (Fluke). 

Along with her parents, she is survived by five children Alexander Halloway, Ashlyn Halloway, Shawn Hess, Zendaya Swanger and Zoltan Swanger; two sisters LeeAnn Clark married to Wesley of Everett, PA; Kristin Harshbarger married to Clay of Robertsdale, PA; grandmother Arlene Buseck;  nieces and nephews Gage Fessler, Madylin Clark, Coen Clark, and Brielle Harshbarger.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Russell and Lee Hughes and George Buseck, Sr.

Shawna was a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School Class of 1996 and attended DuBois Business College in Huntingdon, PA.

Shawna was of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed music and watching movies.

A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, PA on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Peeler officiating. Friends and family will be received from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ms. Hess to Akers Funeral Chapel to assist the family with expenses.
