Sharon L. Stiffler

Sharon L. Stiffler, 60, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona.  She was born on August 23, 1960 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Robert I. Stiffler and Beverly J. (Errington) Paul.

She is survived by her son Rob Blackstone and fiancé Chrissy, of Everett, PA, and daughter Angie, married to Ricky Zimmerman, of Hopewell, PA; two grandsons, whom she adored and was so proud of, Bentley Zimmerman and Ian Zimmerman; sisters Susan Miller and Ruth Bowman; one niece and three nephews.

Sharon worked in the nursing field all her life, currently working at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital as a nursing supervisor.  She was a very caring person.

She loved photography, animals and most of all being with her children and grandsons.

Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5-7:00 PM for a time of visitation at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
