Sarah L. Collins

Sarah L. Collins, 78, of Bedford formerly of Scottdale, PA; went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Al and Nancy Prutz.  She was united in marriage to Charles R. Collins on November 28, 1965; he preceded her in death on August 29, 2015. 

She is survived by her son Geoffrey K. Collins married to Nora (Fischer) of Crystal Spring; two granddaughters; three great granddaughters; sister Eleanor married to Joe Stefik.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Patty Lynn Collins and siblings Rhoda, Jim and Kenny.

Sarah’s faith was very important to her.  She enjoyed attending Tulls Hill Bible Church where she made many lasting friendships.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing guitar, needlepoint and embroidery.

At Sarah’s request there will be no services held, burial will be held privately at the Everett Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sarah’s memory, to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
