It is with deep sorrow and humbled gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our beloved Sandy Hall, wife of Pastor Rick Hall on December 18, 2024. She peacefully entered the arms of Jesus at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandy was born on January 9, 1957, in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of Minnie and James Springer. Sandy exemplified a steadfast faith, a loving spirit, and a heart devoted to service, values that guided her throughout her life.
As the devoted wife of Pastor Rick Hall, for 49 years, Sandy served faithfully as a partner in ministry, dedicating herself to supporting her husband’s calling and nurturing their congregation with kindness, and love. She dedicated 25 years to Children’s Ministry; serving in the nursery, teaching Kid’s Church and sharing Jesus with little ones. Her unwavering strength, selfless love, and gentle encouragement inspired countless lives and brought light and love to those in need. She made a lifelong commitment to building God’s kingdom through loving His people and was deeply committed to growing His church.
Sandy was not only a dedicated servant of the Lord but was also a loving mother to Monica Meckes, and her husband Corey and Adam Hall and his wife Laurel. She was the proud grammy to Noah and Eli Meckes and is now holding her youngest grandson Alan Lee in her arms. Sandy was a loving sister to Melanie Murphy and husband Michael, James Springer, Benjamin L. Hall, Randy L. Hall (dec.), Edward D. Hall, Susan D. Dibert and husband Bob, Jeffrey A. Hall and wife Tonya, Byron L. Hall and wife Irene, Aimee L. Cain, Violet Hall, Barb Hall and Glenda Akers. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sandy deeply loved her family and made spending time with them a priority. She was a woman of quiet strength, gentle humor and a deep well of compassion for others. Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and the countless members of the congregation who were blessed to know her. While we mourn her loss, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life and the assurance that she is now resting in the arms of her savior.
A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on December 28, 2024 at One Community Christian Church, 10229 Lincoln Hwy, Everett, PA 15537. Visitation will take place at 11am with the service at Noon. A meal will be provided in Sandy’s honor following the service. Details will be provided at the service. Sandy’s life was a testament to love, faith, and devotion. She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and she kept the faith - 2 Timothy 4:7
