Sally Jean Detwiler

Sally Jean Detwiler, 71, of North Spring Street, Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at home.  She was born on February 24, 1951 in Houston, Texas; a daughter of the late Alfred Raymond and Zetta Mae (Hewitt) Cleveland. 

She is survived by her fiancé of nineteen years Walter L. Greenawalt; a daughter Tammy Phillips married to Walter, grandchildren Taylor Fogle, Edith Phillips and Trenton Phillips; seven great-grandchildren; sister Zetta Ruth Mayes and sister-in-law JoDene Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by a brother John Cleveland.

She was a member of the Everett Grace Brethren Church.

Sally was a member of the Bedford American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 113.  She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and playing Bingo.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor John Bennett officiating.
