Ruth A. O’Dea, 96, of Hopewell, PA; passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Bedford Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 15, 1927 in Hopewell, PA; a daughter of the late George and Stella (Chisholm) Dodson. On January 1, 1946 in Chester, PA; she was united in marriage to William P. O’Dea. He preceded her in death in 1973.

She is survived by sons George O’Dea and Evelyn Conner, Martinsburg and Dennis P. O’Dea married to Dolores, Martinsburg; son-in-law: Terry N. Faron; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Arlene R. Faron; and siblings Fred, Raymond and James Dodson; Katherine Plisko, Betty Jenkins and Dorothy Donaldson.

Ruth was of the Methodist Faith and was a member of the Hopewell Senior Center.

Services will be held privately by the family with burial at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery.
