Ronald T. Wright

Ronald T. Wright, 65, of Saxton passed away on Saturday, June 01, 2024 after a four year battle with cancer.  He is the son of the late Merrill F. and Delores (Fessler) Wright of Six Mile Run.  On June 12, 1978, he was united in marriage to Terrie (Swope) Wright.

Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter Tiffany Dawn Wright, daughter-in-law Melissa Wright, granddaughters Brynliegh Paige Wright and Londyn Wright, siblings Merrill (Mary Lynn), Larry (Sandra), Deborah (Marion), Randy (Kim), Terry, and Linda and companion (Barry) and many nieces and nephews.  Ronald had a caregiver Sherell Morgan who became part of his family.

He was preceded in death by a son Ronald Shane Wright, and siblings Jeff and Karen. Ronald served in the United States Army and was employed by Department Conservation and Natural Resources for thirty-two years, working at Trough Creek State Park until his retirement.

Ronald enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and his dogs Star, Brutus and Jasper.  He enjoyed watching football and Nascar Racing.  He was always there for anyone who needed help with anything and he took very good care of his family.

He is going to be missed very much.
