Ronald J. Spitko, Sr.

Ronald J. Spitko, Sr., 80, of Bridgeport, PA; passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at home.  He was born on April 9 1941 in Norristown, PA; a son of the late Joseph Stephen and Ella (Koresko) Spitko.  On June 15, 1963 in Norristown, PA he was united in marriage to the former Catherine L. (Oswald) Spitko.

He is survived by children Stephanie M. Hofstetter married to Carroll; Renaee C. Thomas married to David; Brenda L. Spitko-Minch married to Robert; Gloria A. Brown married to Peter and Ronald Spitko, Jr. married to Colleen and a niece he considered more like a daughter Linda K. Whitson; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchidlren.

Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter Helen E. Naylor.

Ronald was a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1959.  After high school he went on to work at Butler and Ferrigno printing press where he was a printing press operator until his retirement in 2006.  He enjoyed doing carpentry whether it was making cabinets or finishing trim but most of all he enjoyed providing for his children.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Cemetery.
