Ronald E. Russell

Ronald E. (Rascal) Russell, 69, of Plank Road, Everett, Pennsylvania; passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at home. He was born on August 25, 1952 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Ned and Lena (Hoopengardner) Russell. On August 26, 1988 in Everett he married Carol Jean Russell (formerly Strait). She preceded him in death on November 29, 2016.

He is survived by the following: daughters Ashley Russell and fiancé Cory Hoffman, Alum Bank, PA and Amy Diehl, Mechanicsburg, PA; step-son Brian Strait and significant other Bonnie Brennan, grandchildren Pierce Hoffman, Braxton Straight and Kayla Koch and a nephew, Dustin Snyder.

He was preceded in death by a niece, Angela Snyder and sister Pam Wright.

Ron was previously a member of the Everett American Legion, Everett V.F.W. and the Everett Bloody Run Social Club. He also had played on a shuffleboard team, known as "the chicken man." His catch phrase, cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck... there goes the puck" will be a memory of many.

A special thanks to Jim and Deb Strait & family for being there for him daily. Also, a special thanks to a very dear friend, Mark (Hook) Holler for visiting often and caring so much.

Mr. Russell was a carpet installer and carpet cleaner for the majority of his career. He worked for Denny Foor for many years.

Ronnie... he came into this world a rascal, and he went out as a rascal, still as ornery as ever!
