Rocky L. Leasure

Rocky "Babe" L. Leasure, 75, of Everett, PA; passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 25, 2025.  He was born on March 30, 1950 in Berkeley Springs, WV; a son of the late McKinley and Betty Jane (Hixon) Leasure.  On May 31, 1969 in Rays Cove Christian Church he was united in marriage to Carol A. (Shaffer) Leasure.  

Along with his wife of fifty-six years, he is survived by four children Tracy Leasure married to Michele (Ebersole), Everett; Brian Leasure married to Alison (Masood), Everett; Kelly Leasure and girlfriend Shelly Bittner, Everett and Julia married to Orville Williams, Jr., Everett; seven grandchildren Colton Williams, Caitlyn Williams, Hunter Browning, Emily Browning, Brenna Leasure, Evan Leasure and Scarlett Leasure; and a sister Alinda Mae Elbin married to Danny, Artemas, PA.

He was preceded in death by a brother Roger Leasure (Linda).

Rocky was a member of the Rays Cove Christian Church.  He worked for Leo Ramsey Trucking, Cormac Grain, he was a self-employed owner/operator for over forty years with the handle "Nervous Wreck".  After retirement he drove for Clingerman's Paving, RML, Shippensburg Leasing, TLB Logging, LSG Trucking and many other trucking companies throughout the years.

He enjoyed hunting, trucking and watching football and baseball.

Friends and family may call on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 3-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rays Cove Christian Church with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.

Burial will be held at Rays Cove Christian Church Cemetery.
