Richard "Dick" L. Foreman

Richard Lee "Dick" Foreman, 86 of Bus. 220 Bedford, passed away on Monday, December 28th, 2020, at Homewood in Martinsburg. He was born October 7th, 1934, son of the late Bernard Lee and Rachel (Cessna) Foreman. 
 
Surviving is four children - Richard Lee Foreman II Chambersburg, PA, Terry Sue Foreman Raleigh NC, Judy wife of Scott Eller Hopewell Pa, Lori Ann Williams, Jerome, PA.
 
Also surviving are 11 Grandchildren - Julie, Joshua, Justin, Jill, Tyler, Keri, Kimberly, Hope, Ivy, Colt, and Clay.
 
18 Great-grandchildren - Alexa, Shane, Nathan, Jordan, Louis, Kayleigh, Logan, Parker, Violet, Addyson, Jacob, Emma Mae, Lennon, Isaiah, Emma Lou, Uriah, Amya, Cashton, and one on the way, Alanna.
 
Four brothers: Samuel (Kate) R. Foreman, G. William "Bill" (Joann) Foreman both of Bedford, Charles Henry "Hank" Foreman of Cumberland, MD, Thomas E. (Karen) Foreman of Everett, and a sister Sheila Kay (Barry) May of Bedford.

He is also survived by his estranged wife Eleanor of Everett
 
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, a sister Martha Jane Hershberger, and brother James "Toad" Foreman.
 
Dick was a skilled marksman, avid outdoorsman, and hunter. He retired from the United Telephone Company with 30+ years of service. 
 
A Graveside Service will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Keith Showalter officiating.
