Richard Allen Trickett, 75, of Loysburg, PA; passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born on September 09, 1949 in Cleveland, OH; a son of the late Willard and Edna (Hurst) Trickett. On September 29, 2001 in Columbus, OH; he was united in marriage to Malele “Amy” Trickett.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter Jennifer Kapinski, (Alan), PA; stepchildren, David (Ruth), Elaine, John, Heidi (Shane), Sherman (Stephanie), Brandon (Bianca), Puna and Leilani; grandchildren, Cooper and Eli, twelve step grandchildren, one step great grandson; niece, Andrea; nephew Chris and his precious pet “Truman”.
He loved tinkering in his shed and enjoyed doing projects, as he was a jack of all trades. He attended Victory Fellowship Church, Bedford.
Richard was employed at R&L Abatement until his retirement. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a SP4 from 1968-1970.
Friends and Family will be received on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Daniel Diehl officiating.
Burial will be held at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery with full military honors by the Everett Area Honor Guard.
