Rebecca Stefancik

Rebecca A. Stefancik, 88, of Hopewell, PA; passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Homewood at Martinsburg.  She was born on July 22, 1935 in Everett, PA; a daughter of the late Darrell and Sylvia (Stull) Satterfield.  In 1962 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Dudley; she was united in marriage to Edward J. Stefancik.

Along with her husband, she is survived by two special cousins Elaine and Jack.

Rebecca was a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelors of Science in Business education.

She taught at Northern Bedford School District and also Tussey Mountain School District, teaching business and shorthand.

Mrs. Stefancik was of the Catholic Faith.

She enjoyed being around people and attending the monthly get togethers at restaurants.  For many years she planned and coordinated bus trips through Bollman's for retired school employees and families.

A private burial will be held at Hopewell Cemetery with Father Derek Fairman officiating.
