Ray Kenneth "Punch" Douglas

Ray Kenneth Douglas, 91, of Hopewell, PA; passed away at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2026.  He was born on February 28, 1935 in Hopewell, PA; a son of the late John Elsworth and Hazel (Singer) Douglas.  On July 22, 1954 in Maryland, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Ruth (Weist) Douglas.  She preceded him in death on September 11, 2022. 

He is survived by a daughter Robin G. (Douglas) Clark married to Barry; great grandson Ray Mitchell Vincent married to Cheyann and newest family member great great granddaughter Harley Jo Vincent and a very special great great granddaughter Sophia Rae Wilson, who he loved with all his heart.  He is also survived by a step granddaughter Jacklyn (Clark) Sirko and husband Brad, step grandson Troy Clark and step great grandsons Ryker Thein, Cameron Sheeder, Kyle Sheeder and wife Ali; Ray is also survived by a brother Delford Douglas and wife Karaha and a sister Vieva Ernest and husband Dennis and many nieces and nephews.   

Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by a daughter Holly Jo Douglas; grandson Ray M. Tromm and a step-granddaughter Joselyn R. (Clark) Sheeder and brothers Melvin, John, Bill, Tom and Joe Douglas and a sister Gladys (Douglas) Underwood.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at The Bedford Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7408 Main Road, Bedford, PA 15522, all are welcome to attend.  The service will be available via zoom.
