Randy A. Ramsey

Randy A. Ramsey, 78, of Hopewell, Pennsylvania; passesd away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at home with his family by his side.  He was born on August 9, 1945 in Breezewood, PA; a son of the late Mason R. and Hilda M. (Hinish) Ramsey.  He was united in marriage to Becky (Wigfield) Ramsey.

Along with his wife he is survived by children Wendy Swindell (Tim) and Rick Ramsey (Paul); grandchildren Amanda Swindell, Makayla Gearhart (Justin); great grandchildren Harper and Jamison Gearhart; siblings Fern Sipes, Leo (Mary Edna), Gary Ramsey, Theola Miller (Frank) and Bonnie Kalathas (Tony).

He was preceded in death by siblings Jean Truax, Lorraine Greenwald, Norma Feight, Vickie Ramsey, Virgil Ramsey, Rodney Ramsey and infant siblings Sarah, Marvin and Ronald and great grandson Alec.

He was a self-employed truck driver most of his life.

He enjoyed attending flea markets, auctions and loved being with his family and was an avid animal lover.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett from 4-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor William Swope officiating.

Burial will be held at the Everett Cemetery.
