Randy P. Edwards

Randy P. Edwards, 74, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at home.  He was born on September 5, 1950 in Everett, PA; a son of the late Paul and Fleta (Fidler) Edwards. 

He is survived by two sons Trent married to Nikki (Koons), Bedford, PA and Craig Edwards married to Sandy (Miller), LaGrange, KY; grandchildren Larkyn, Matthew and Joshua Edwards and Erix and Tai Edwards; and a sister Patty Trueax, Crystal Spring.

Randy graduated from Everett High School Class of 1968 and attended Thompson Institute in Harrisburg.  He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne from 1970-1971 during the Vietnam War.

He owned and operated Edwards Plumbing and Heating for many years until his retirement.

He was a member of the Everett American Legion Post No. 08 and the Everett V.F.W. Post No. 2088.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.  Full military honors will be conducted by the Everett Area Honor Guard.

Friends and Family will be received on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. from 3:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
