Phillip Junior Foor 8/10/1944 - 12/25/2025
Phillip Junior Foor, age 81 went to be with his Lord and Savior December 25, 2025. He was born August 10,1944 in Cypher, PA to Philip and Yowna Clarice (McGee) Foor. Phillip was raised as the son of Perry Robert and Doris E. (Colledge) Foor.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 60 years Linda L. (Brantner) Foor whom he married May 28, 1965. Children: Linette E. Copelli (Matthew Feight), Latrobe, PA, Phillip “Jeffrey” Foor and wife Adena (Lockard), Breezewood, PA, Michael D. Foor, Everett, PA and Troy R. Foor (Kristie Diehl) Everett, PA.
Nine grandchildren: Angelo Copelli and wife Micah Lincicum, Gianna Copelli (Connor Quinlisk), Kayloni Foor, Alana (Foor) Atherton and husband John, Alisha Foor; Seth Foor, Rachel Foor-Musselman and husband Kyle, Sierra Miller, Maddie Turner. Bonus granddaughter Kimberly Lensbouer.
Five great grandchildren: Camillia and Malachi Copelli, Quianna, Kinsley and Chloe Atherton. Bonus great grandchildren Emma Ritchey and Aubry Morris.
Survived by siblings: Patty Ann Forrester, Mary Jean Davis, Roderick (Buck) Foor and Donnie Foor. Phillip is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Perry and Doris (Colledge) Foor and by his biological parents Philip and Yowna Clarice (McGee) Foor. Siblings: Marjorie Roland, Dennie Foor, Charlotte Miller.
He was a 1962 graduate of the 1st graduating class of Tussey Mountain High School. He was a member of the Everett Junior Rifle Club and was the very first to achieve the level of Distinguished Expert in 1962. Phillip was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved collecting antiques, stamps, coins, arrowheads and vinyl records. But Phillip especially enjoyed most spending time with all his grandchildren and his special Bassett hound Tucker.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 3-7 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rays Cove Christian Church with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.
Burial will be held at the Rays Cove Cemetery.
