Paul Grubb Obituary

Paul S. Grubb, 93, of Old Route 26, Everett, PA; passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at home.  He was born on November 22, 1927 in Loysburg, PA; a son of the late Arthur S. and Edith (Fluke) Grubb.  On August 25, 1973 in Bedford, PA, he was united in marriage to Emma M. (Fischer).  She preceded him in death on April 4, 2008.

He is survived by son Dennis Feight married to Carolyn; daughters-in-law Janet Feight and Mary Lou Hardy; grandchildren Lisa Hostetler married to Dan, Michael Hardy married to Ann, Jeffery Feight married to Sherry, Corinna Browell married to Michael, and Yvonne Feight-Giffin; great grandchildren Ryan Hardy, Sawyer Hardy, Jack Hardy, Justin Feight, Bradley Feight, Michelle Kline, Shannon Browell, Courtney Browell, Matthew Giffin, Joshua Giffin, and Daniel Giffin; four great-great grandchildren Aubrie, Alaina, Airyella, and Archie; sister-in-law Gail Grubb and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sons C. Eugene Feight, Gary L. Hardy and siblings Robert Grubb, Betty Trail, Billy Grubb, Dean Grubb, Sara Jane Smith and Ernie Grubb; step mother Blanche Grubb.

Paul served in the United States Air Force from 1946-1947.  He drove truck over the years for Spector Freight System, Gateway Travel Plaza, and Cottle’s Asphalt Maintenance until his retirement.

He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Bedford, where he was very active until his health failed.

He enjoyed helping others and was a kind man with a generous heart.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Akers on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Steve Egbert officiating.

Burial will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Grubb to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 9391 Lincoln Hwy, Bedford, PA 15522.
