Patricia A. (Layton) Weimer

Patricia A. Weimer, 87, of West South Street, Everett, PA; passed away on April 9, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital, Altoona, PA.  She was born on July 10, 1938 in Breezewood, PA; a daughter of the late Dewey and Vivian (Rice) Layton.  She was united in marriage to Donald Ray Weimer.  He preceded her in death on August 7, 2018 ending a marriage of sixty-four years.

She is survived by children Debra Bussard and fiancé Butch Clark, Everett, PA and Dustin Weimer married to Kari (Wilson), San Antonio, TX; former daughter-in-law Amy Jo Hush, San Antonio, TX; grandchildren Travis Bussard, Holly married to Garrett Carstens and Hannah Weimer; two step-grandchildren Cody and Kaydi Wilson; great-grandchildren Audrey and Landon Carstens.

Patty was preceded in death by siblings John Layton, Fern Foor, Ralph Layton and Joann R. Swartzwelder and her constant companion her dog Chloe.

She cherished the time and moments she spent with her family. Patty enjoyed camping trips with her husband for a number of years.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Everett Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jonas Smith officiating.
