Patricia A. (Padgett) Rush

Patricia A. Rush, 82, of Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 314 Rush Street.  She was born on August 20, 1941 in Columbia, a daughter of the late Charles “Edward” and Louise (Epperson) Padgett. On November 1, 1987, she was united in marriage to Donald R. Rush. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2020.

Along with her husband, she is survived by sons Mitchell Parker and wife Cindy, Robert Hall and wife Teresa, and Kirk Hall, step children Donna, Donald, Patsy, Ronald and their families, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great great granddaughter; brother-in-law Harold Rush married to Connie and Judy Rush.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael Parker, sisters-in-law Sylvia Maust, Linda Bloom, and Bonnie Tew and brothers-in-law Veryl and Danny Rush.

Mrs. Rush was a member of the Mt Union Christian Church in Mench.

She retired from Wal-Mart after several years of service.

Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 Noon at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Koontz officiating.

Burial will be held at Mt. Union Cemetery.
