Patricia Faye (Frazier) Murray

Patricia Faye (Frazier) Murray, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Bedford Post Acute after a brief illness.  Formerly of Somerset, PA and Winter Haven, FL she was born on October 15, 1931 at home in Lavansville (Somerset County) PA.  The daughter of the late Willis Guy and Diola (Robinson) Frazier.  On April 24, 1952 she married Charles Walter Murray in Winchester, VA.  He proceeded her in death on April 7, 2024.

She is survived by daughter Barbara Barron with whom she resided of Everett, PA and son David (Carol) Murray of Somerset, PA.  Grandsons Joseph Barron and fiancé Cheryl Imler; Jeffrey Barron, Nicholle Barron and Troy Barron of Everett, PA.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brothers, James (Dolly); Larry “Joe” Frazier and sister Louella Herwig; son-in-law Jay Barron.

She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Lavansville, PA and a graduate of Somerset High School Class of 1950.  She worked for her father at Frazier Plumbing and Heating, Benders Shoe Factory and Devilbiss Company in Somerset, PA.  She was a 4-H leader and den mother for the Boy Scouts.  She liked to sew, quilt, embroider and make crafts.  She was an avid reader and bowled and played golf in several leagues. 

Services will be private at the request of the deceased. 

Internment will be at the Lavansville Lutheran Cemetery, Lavansville, PA.
