Norma Louise Price

Norma L. Price, 89, of Clearville, PA; passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on March 06, 1933, in Johnstown, PA; a daughter of the late Ray P. and Jessie E.  (Robinette) Sleek. On September 10, 1950 in Flintstone, Maryland; she was united in marriage to the late Kenneth P. Price. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2001.

She is survived by children Randy Price married to Nancy (Blackstone), Everett; Debbie Merritts, Clearville; Kenneth Price and significant other Rhea Corle, Everett; Sheryl Price, Everett; Dennis Price, Clearville; Kathy Price and significant other Jeff Whetstone, Everett; Brian Price, Everett and Todd Price married to Yvonne (Smith), Everett; nineteen grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and sister Lois Jean Clingerman of Little Orleans.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by son-in-law Jerry Merritts; grandson Brett Price; great granddaughter Shayla Clark; siblings William Sleek, Betty Morris, Roy Sleek, Jr. and one infant sibling.

Norma enjoyed gardening, plastic canvas, quilting, and working at the church thrift shop in Everett. She attended Rock Hill Christian Church.

Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, March 02, 2023 from 5-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 03, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hott officiating.

Burial will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery.
