Nellie A. (McFarland) Clark

Nellie A. (McFarland) Clark, 93, of Raystown Road, Everett, PA, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Bedford Post Acute, Bedford, PA.  She was born on November 9, 1931 in Everett, PA, a daughter of the late John William and Nellie J. (Clapper) McFarland.  On April 16, 1949; she married Elliott Eugene “Gene” Clark, Sr. in Woodbury, PA by the Rev. D.I. Pepple.

Along with her husband, she is survived by three children Connie A. married to Rusty E. Bishop, Greencastle, PA; Elliott E. Clark Jr. married to Peggy (Andrews), Everett, PA and Jane Delrae married to Eric S. Hagstrom, Bedford, PA; and six grandchildren Ryan E. Clark married to Heather, Jason O. Bishop married to Erin, Jessica R. Lankey and companion Bradley, Chad A. Clark and fiancé Victoria, Amy E. married to Daniel Proctor and Kevin W. Perrin married to Macy; great grandchildren Rachel, Drew, and Levi Clark; Sierra Bishop; Owen, Dashea, and Alyvia Lankey, Jeremy and Morgan Clark and Chase Bottenfield, Silas and Charlea Proctor; and Luke, Lane and Laura Perrin; two great great grandchildren Leah and Waylon and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.

Nellie worked as a seamstress at Lion Manufacturing in Everett for many years.  Later working at Pennknoll Village for eleven years until her retirement in 1996.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and working with her husband, Gene, in the yard and garden around their home.

Mrs. Clark enjoyed crocheting, housekeeping and was a terrific cook.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Manges officiating.

Friends may call at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 11:30 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Bethel Cemetery, Tatesville.

In lieu of flowers if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Clark to the Hopewell Township Cemetery Association, 361 Grindstone Road, Everett, PA 15537.
