Mary Jane (Sands) Browell

Mary Jane Browell, 79, of Colonial Courtyard formerly of Everett, PA; passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.  She was born on April 17, 1941 in Pulaski, Virginia; a daughter of the late Robert M. and Marietta B. (Snyder) Sands.  In September of 1960 she was united in marriage to Gary A. Browell.  He preceded her in death in July of 1988.

She is survived by two sons Chris M. Browell married to Jill (Day), Chesapeake, VA and Cory J. Browell married to Carla (Hale), Nashville, TN; grandchildren Christopher Browell, Isabella Browell, Grant Bagby, Garrett Bagby and Mia Browell; siblings Marty Sands married to Nancy, Everett; Barbara Boor married to Don, Ashton, VA and Linda Hall married to John, Scranton, PA.

Jane was a loving mom, grandmother and sister.  She was tremendously proud of her family and leaves behind a lifetime of wonderful memories.  She cared deeply for her family and was always there when you needed someone to talk too.   Words cannot express how much her warm smile and big hugs will be missed.

Mary Jane was a member of the First Christian Church, Everett.

She retired from Kennametal in Bedford where she was receptionist and benefit coordinator until her retirement.

Mary Jane was a graduate of Everett Area High School Class of 1959.  She enjoyed reading, traveling and being with family.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with burial at Bethel Cemetery.
