Marsha K. (Deshong) Henry

Marsha Katherine Henry, 69, of Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona, PA.  She was born on October 2, 1954 in Roaring Spring, PA; a daughter of Arthur and Shirley A. (Dodson) Deshong of Yellow Creek, PA.  On October 10, 1998 in Yellow Creek, she was united in marriage to Thomas J. Henry.

Along with her parents and husband, she is survived by daughters Marcy (Steach) Miller married to Brian W., Everett, PA and Dana (Steach) Hand; grandson Brady Miller and siblings James Deshong married to Pam, Hopewell; Gina Weaver married to B. Wayne, Hopewell and Heather Holler, Everett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Arthur S. “Arch” Deshong.

Marsha was of the Methodist Faith.  She enjoyed meeting up with her friends at the Everett V.F.W. Post 2088, where she was a member.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and in earlier years enjoyed playing and coaching in local softball leagues.  Marsha was employed at Sears Roebuck for a number of years.
