Mark C. Hays

Mark C. Hays, 60, of Williamsburg, PA; passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at home.  He was born on September 29, 1962; a son of the late Charles Edward and Ferne F. (Foreman) Hays. 

He is survived by sons Mark A. Hays, Bedford and Daniel Gallo, Altoona; four grandchildren; and brothers Steven Hays and Scott Hays.

He was preceded in death by siblings Clifford Hays and Apryle Foor.

Mark worked as a quality inspector at Cove Shoe for a number of years.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid sports fan.

He graduated from Tussey Mountain High School Class of 1980.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, PA with Pastor Mary Imler officiating.

Friends will be received from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Chapel.
