Marilyn A. Homoki, 84, of Egolf Road, Bedford, PA; passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at home. She was born on July 23, 1941 in Plainsville, Michigan; a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Larson) Backman. On June 10, 1961 she was united in marriage to Frank P. Homoki.
Along with her husband of sixty-four years, she is survived by four children Jody Needam, Kurt Homoki, Morgan Homoki and Ali Homoki; two grandchildren David and Kaden; a brother Harold Backman and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Elroy Backman.
Marilyn volunteered for the IRS as a tax preparer assisting senior citizens and low income families with tax returns for many years. She served as church secretary at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford for ten years and also as a lay minister volunteering as a chaplain at the Bedford Memorial Hospital.
She enjoyed participating in local bowling leagues and riding motorcycle with her husband. She and her husband supported children with cancer fundraising through the Moose Riders Organization.
At Marilyn’s request there will be no services.
