Margaret Irene Snyder

Margaret Irene Snyder, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Pennknoll Village.  She was born on February 5, 1932 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Ralph T. and Viola (Wilson) Snyder.  She is survived by nephews Ralph D. Snyder II married to Pam, Everett, PA and Russell D. Snyder married to Penny, Everett, PA: great nephews and nieces Jason married to Jaclyn, Joshua married to Whitney, Selena and Shannen; great great nieces Baylee, Abigail and Jaelyn; and sister-in-law Willie Snyder.           

She was preceded in death by a brother Ralph “Don” Snyder and two infant brothers.

Margaret was a member of the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren, where she was a faithful worker doing whatever needed done. 

She was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1950.  After graduation she went to work for Williams and Company in Bedford as a bookkeeper for forty years until her retirement.  Margaret was a member of the Pioneer Bowling League for many years traveling throughout the United States for Local, State and National tournaments.

She loved to travel and didn’t miss any opportunity; she would go at the drop of a hat.

Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren with Pastor David Grimes and Pastor William Kisner officiating.

Burial will be held in Ritchey Cemetery.
