Margaret Ann Pearson

Margaret Ann Pearson, 83, of Chestnut Street, Broad Top City, PA; passed away on April 5, 2022 at home.  She was born on May 3, 1938 in Broad Top, PA; daughter of the late William E. and Lillian (Thompson) Williams.  On June 21, 1958 in Winchester, VA; she was united in marriage to Irvin L. Pearson; he preceded her in death in February of 1996. 

She is survived by children William L. Pearson married to Deborah, Broad Top City, PA and Minda S. Heath married to Jim, Broad Top City, PA; grandsons William P. Pearson and Anthony J. Heath; step-grandsons Eugene and Phillip Fisher and seven step great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by two infant children and siblings Ken Swope, Cloyde Swope, Marshall Swope, Hubert Swope, Wilbur Swope, Vula Baker and William Boyd Williams.

Margaret was a 1957 graduate of Robertsdale High School.  She started working at the Shoe Factory in Martinsburg then later working at Seton Manufacturing where she worked until her retirement in 2000.  She was a member of the Robertsdale Church of God and a lifetime member of the Broad Top Sportsman’s Club.  She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, traveling, watching the hummingbirds and especially spending time with her two fur babies.

At Margaret’s request all services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with burial at Broad Top I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
