Margaret J. Duggan

Margaret Josephine Duggan 86, of Big Creek Road, Clearville. Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2020, at home, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on February 26, 1933, in Rochester, NY. and was united in marriage to her husband John on June 6, 1953.

During their sixty-six years together, Margaret and John raised seven children: Eileen (Larry Sill), Margaret Duffy (Bob), Anne Duggan, Catherine Fly (Dan), Helen Mallory (Dick), Joe Duggan (Amy Akers), and Mary Sydney Duggan. She leaves behind beloved grandchildren: Alicia and Leeann Duggan, Matt Duffy (Jessica),  Katie Duffy, Andrea Fly (André II), Ella, Anna, Ethan, and Stetson Duggan as well as great-grandchildren: Lauren and André III. Siblings Honey and John O’Connor.

She was preceded in death by parents Agnes and James O’Connor; husband John Duggan, daughter Eileen Duggan, siblings James, Danny and Thomas.

Margaret will be warmly remembered by her family and friends for her compassion, fiery spirit and strength of convictions.

She loved her family, reading, cooking, sweet treats and Fox News. She cherished her Catholic faith. She undoubtedly is dancing with the Angels as her true valentine John takes the lead.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 17, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Christian Church, 1355 Big Creek Road, Clearville, PA 15535 with Pastor Todd Jay officiating.
