Margaret Z. (Ramsey) Brown

Margaret Z. Brown, 81, of Mount Union, PA; was called home to glory on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital.  She was born on October 21, 1939 in Saxton, PA; a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Ruth E. (Mock) Ramsey. On December 24, 1960, she was united in marriage to the late William Brown.  

She is survived by five children William Brown married to Bonnie, McClure, PA; Thomas Brown, Mt. Union; Ruth Weyant, Saxton;  Ronald Brown married to Sherry, Mt. Union and Stephen Brown married to Marti, Wood; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one due in January and one due in May.

She is also survived by the following siblings David Ramsey, Huntingdon, Betty, Gloria and Ralph Ramsey all of Saxton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a granddaughter Brenda Mae Brown; a special niece Heather Ramsey and a son in-law John Weyant.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and her flowers.  You could often find her relaxing watching her westerns on tv.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at the Akers Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
