Lucille J. (Thomas) Brant

Lucille J. Brant, 92, of Everett, PA; passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Meadow View Nursing Home.  She was born on March 09, 1933 in Johnstown, PA; a daughter of the late Sylvester J. and Helen (Karashowski) Thomas.  She was united in marriage to Donald E. Brant on August 10, 1951 in Johnstown, PA; he preceded her in death in March 2002.

She is survived by children Kathy Garthoff, Everett, PA and Donald Brant, Jr., married to Pamela of Sabillasville, MD; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Christie H. Golemo and a brother Harry Sylvester Thomas.

Lucille was a member of the Everett Grace Brethren Church.  She attended the Bedford Senior Center where she enjoyed playing bingo.  Over the years she was the caregiver for her family.  She was employed as the manager at GNC.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lucille to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
