Lois Wilt Obituary

Lois D. Wilt, 94, of Breezewood, PA passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, Everett.  She was born on July 31, 1925 in Roaring Spring, PA; a daughter of the late Ira T. and Ferne B. (Mock) Detwiler.  On September 6, 1947 in Roaring Spring, PA; she was united in marriage to Harry B. Wilt.  He preceded her in death on February 20, 1995.

She is survived by three children Terry A. Wilt married to Dianna (Shade), Stephens City, VA; Thomas L. Wilt married to Jodi (Diehl), Breezewood, PA and Diane L. Bulger, Everett, PA; three grandchildren Chad Bulger married to Dana; Tina married to Derek Hartwig and Ben Westwood married to Lauren; step grandchildren Josh and Zach Millin and seven great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Donald H. Wilt and brother Charles W. "Wilbur" Detwiler.

She was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School Class of 1943, where she had perfect attendance for twelve years.

 Lois worked in the Breezewood Elementary cafeteria for the Everett Area School District for twenty-one years until her retirement in 1994.  

She became a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in 1947 and later moved her membership to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Breezewood where she was active.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery with Rev. Judith Simonson officiating.
