Lois Grace Morral, 90, of Chaneysville Road, Clearville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2025. Born October 24, 1934, in Bedford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cleo (Lepley) Hite. She was united in marriage to Herbert Allen Morral on September 12, 1954, in Cumberland, MD; he preceded her in death on July 24, 2004.
Lois is survived by her children: Debra Morral-Salman of Fairfax, VA; Karen Morral of Altoona, PA; Mary Morral of Bothell, WA; Peggy Thomas-Hoy (Alan) of Breezewood, PA; David Morral (Staci) of Clearville, PA; Donna Coleman (Greg) of Sterling, VA; and daughter-in-law Sandra Morral of Mount Joy, PA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren—Kellen, Jenna, Chelsea, Sierra, Kiel, Jeanette, Crystal, Matthew, Luke, Kenzi, Sally, Bailey, and Benjamin—as well as twenty-one great-grandchildren, with an additional one on the way.
She was predeceased by her husband Herb, daughter Susan, son Jeffrey and son-in-law Terry Thomas, and siblings Julia Diehl, Madeline Ingoglia, and Ralph Hite.
Lois graduated from Bedford High School in 1952 and was a loyal member of Everett United Methodist Church. She raised her family and worked alongside her husband on the family dairy farm where they instilled strong values of hard work ethic, strength and faith into their children to be passed on for generations. Lois was known for her resilience and positive outlook throughout life's challenges, consistently providing guidance and sharing her wisdom with everyone she loved. She loved to joke about the degree she earned from the School of Hard Knocks and difficult times nobody should ever have to deal with.
Her interests included reading, gardening, pride in maintaining a spotless home, and preparing delicious meals and baked goods for her family and friends. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved reading them books, playing cards, and attending their many sporting events. There was never a time they visited her without reaching into the candy dish she always made sure was full.
Lois was also an enthusiastic supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.
Lois is reunited in spirit with her husband Herb on what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary, September 12, 2025, honoring their everlasting love.
