Linda D. (Plummer) Whitfield

Linda Diane Whitfield aged 74, of Everett, PA passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026.  Born on May 8, 1952 in Roaring Spring, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Marjorie E. & Harry O. Plummer.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie & Harry; and her husband, Rickey of Hopewell.

She dedicated her life to caring for others, notably as the owner and operator of Nanny’s Place child care. Beyond her work, she found joy in crocheting and reading.  Above all, she was a devoted mother, sister, aunt & friend. Her family was her greatest pride. 

She is survived by her son Richard, brothers Tom & Mark, as well as many extended relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A grave side service to honor her life will be held on May 22, 2026 at 12:30 P.M. at the Everett Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Hinish officiating.   The family welcomes all who knew her to join in celebrating her remarkable life.

Her memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
