Linda S. (Hammond) Weist

Linda S. Weist, 79, of Everett, PA; passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  She was born on April 9, 1946 in Columbus, OH; a daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Roberta J. (Aldrich) Hammond-Graham.  On January 12, 1963 in Breezewood, PA; by the Rev. Coy Foor, she was united in marriage to John A. Weist.  

Along with her husband of sixty-three years, she is survived by two children Robert A. Weist, Everett, PA and Lori A. Imgrund married to Robert, Everett, PA; grandchildren Brett Weist, Alicia Imgrund, Kayla Weist, Robert Imgrund, Jr. married to Amanda, Kylie Weist and Levi Weist; five great grandchildren Austin Weist, Haidyn Imgrund, Madilyn Imgrund, Maddison Weist and Aurora Weist; siblings Gloria Diehl married to Paul, Everett; Lawrence Hammond married to Helene; Vicki Robinson married to Jerry; David Hammond married to Susan; Frank Hammond married to Rose and Kathy Cover married Donn.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Diane Weist.

Linda was a member of the First Christian Church, Everett, where she enjoyed being active.  She served as a trustee, sang in the church choir, was a Sunday school teacher and was head of the food service committee for twenty years. 

She worked at Lions Manufacturing and later worked at Penners AG Store in Breezewood and Sheetz in Everett.

Linda enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

A private family viewing and service will be held with burial at Graceville Cemetery.
