Leroy Kawich

Leroy Michael Kawich, 84, of Everett, PA; passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at UPMC Altoona.  He was born in Edgewood, MD on January 23, 1940 the son of the late James and Maude (Remsburg) Kawich.  On May 31, 1964 in Cumberland, MD; he was united in marriage to Sheila (Snider) Kawich.

Surviving is his wife, and two sons, Scott Kawich, Somerset, PA and Jeffery Kawich married to Diann, of Hummelstown, PA; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  

Leroy graduated from Greater Baltimore Christian Academy.  He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church where he sang in the senior choir and enjoyed singing at local nursing homes.  He was a member of the American Truckers Association, was an avid reader and liked working in the yard.

At his request, there will be no services.
