Leroy M. Hall, Sr., 66, of Bedford, PA; passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at home. He was born on December 16, 1957 the son of the late Melvin L. and Shirley J. (Kagarise) Hall. On July 17, 1998 in Riddlesburg, PA, he was united in marriage to Stacey D. (Fyfe) Hall.
Along with his wife he is survived by children Leroy Hall Jr. married to Becky, Everett, Chanda Eckman married to Mark, Arizona, Katrina Shimp married to Robert, North Carolina, Justin Smith, Bedford, and Lexie Olschewski, Imler; he was blessed with fifteen grandchildren that he loved and cherished; siblings Gary Hall married to Beth, Martinsburg, PA; Emerson Hall, Dudley, PA; Shirley Lohr married to Joe, New Paris, PA and Wayne Hall married to Jennifer, Saxton, PA.
He was preceded in death by a son Aaron Donald Leroy Hall, siblings Ethel Risbon, Fred O. Hall and Nancy Smith
Leroy enjoyed spending time with his family, singing gospel music, attending church, hunting and fishing, playing cards with friends and enjoyed racing and helping with the 12 LC race car. He was always available to lend a hand when needed.
He attended Tussey Mountain School District and was a member of the Tatesville Community Church.
He worked construction and after retirement was a driver for Cart. He often said that was the best and most rewarding job he ever had.
Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5-8 P.M. at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Sue Detterline officiating.
Burial will be held at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery.
