Leonard "Robbie" R. Grimes

Leonard R. “Robbie” Grimes, 64, of Clearville, PA; passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024.  He was born on May 4, 1959 in Everett, PA; a son of Daniel Robert Grimes of Clearville and the late Lottie LaRue (Morris) Grimes.

Along with his father, he is survived by two sons Tyler Grimes of Schellsburg and Zachary Grimes of Manns Choice; granddaughter Makenna Grimes; brothers Kevin Grimes married to Cherie (Barkman) and Patrick Grimes both of Clearville and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of the Everett Area High School Class of 1977.  Robbie was employed for the Department of Transportation for thirty years as an equipment operator.

Mr. Grimes was a member of the Clearville United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed watching Nascar, sports, hunting and caring for his property.  He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Sylvia Smith.

Burial will be held at Union Memorial Cemetery.
