Larry M. Vance, 80, of Artemas, PA; passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born on June 29, 1945 in Cumberland, MD; a son of the late Kermit and Eloise (Clingerman) Vance. On May 2, 1964 in Hancock, Maryland; he was united in marriage to Patsy M. (Stanley) Vance.
Along with his wife of sixty-one years, he is survived by three children Steven Vance, Artemas, Vicky Loy, Artemas and Joey Vance, Berkeley Springs, WV; three grandchildren Brandon, Josh and Heather; five great grandchildren Savannah, Jameson, Roman, Konstance and George; and two brothers Weldon Vance married to Angie and Terry Vance married to Jeanette.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Tony Loy.
He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local Union #126 for forty-two years; working as a lineman/field supervisor for Henkels and McCoy.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, and visiting with family and friends especially at butchering time. He loved the story sharing and fellowship with others while they butchered especially with his good friends Bob and Gerry.
Friends and Family may call at the Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Milton Morris and Pastor Jonas Smith officiating.
Burial will be held privately.
